SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2021 SOME (So Others Might Eat) Annual Gala
The RKO Combois excited to support, for the first time, the SOME Gala! This prestigious gala is held annually to celebrate the successes of SOME’s work, the triumphs of their clients, and the recipients of SOME’s highest honor – The Father Horace McKenna Humanitarian Award.
Proceeds from the gala will benefit SOME’s programs, including their job training programs, residential substance use disorder treatment program, and affordable housing with supportive services. These programs provide the tools that individuals and families need to break the cycle of homelessness and go on to live independent and meaningful lives.
The RKO Combois excited to support, for the fifth year in a row, the John S. Mulholland Family Foundation! Help us raise money to make a difference in the lives of more than 750 working families in the District of Columbia. The mission of the foundation is…”to simply assist those already doing God’s work within a stone’s throw from the U.S. Capitol – to ensure that no child goes to bed hungry in the greatest city in the world, that no family is left in need, that no call is left answered.” Read more about what the JSMFF does here…

Join NTMF andRadio King Orchestra AND The Fabulous Pincurl Girls to honor both Active and Reserve forces, as well as, the more than 100,000 veterans in North Texas with a night to remember. Established in 1965 as the Dallas Military Ball by representatives of the Air Force Association, Association of the U.S. Army, Navy League, Marine Corps Association and other Reserve and National Guard organizations, the foundation’s military ball has become a unified voice for the greater Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex area.

Iwo Jima Association of America (IJAA) is hosting the Commemoration of the
75th Anniversary of the Battle for Iwo Jima and has invited all surviving
Iwo Jima Veterans…and you(!) to honor and celebrate the sacrifices and heroism
these war heroes made so many years ago.
Be among some amazing men who fought – still the bloodiest battle in our nation’s history – and changed the world! Radio King Orchestra and The Fabulous Pincurl Girlsis dedicated to showing these soldiers of The Greatest Generation how much we appreciate their sacrifice and service.
Enjoy a cocktail reception, music by “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band, a nice dinner and then music and entertainment for you to dance the night away compliments of Radio King Orchestra and The Fabulous Pincurl Girls . Meet these brave soldiers, thank them for their incredible service to our country…and maybe even steal a dance or two with these beloved veterans! They may be a little older but they still have those moves on that dance floor!! We hope you will join us.
