Lake Anne Take A Break Concert Series

A slightly smaller 8-piece Radio King Orchestra will celebrate a beautiful summer evening with you on the plaza playing popular swing, big band and jazz standards. This is a dancing night…so bring your dancing shoes!  And for those who want to learn how to dance, there will  be a short dance lesson on our break.  Grab your lawn chairs and your cooler full of snacks and we’ll meet you there!

Iwo Jima Association Official Banquet 2018!

It’s an evening to celebrate and honor the veterans of Iwo Jima and their legacy they have left our country.  Meet some amazing men who fought, still the bloodiest battle in our nation’s history, and changed the world!  Radio King Orchestra and The Fabulous Pincurl Girls is dedicated to showing these soldiers of The Greatest Generation how much we appreciate their sacrifice and service.

Enjoy a cocktail reception, music by “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band, a nice dinner and then music and entertainment for you to dance the night away compliments of Radio King Orchestra and The Fabulous Pincurl Girls .  Meet these brave soldiers,  thank them for their incredible service to our country…and maybe even steal a dance or two with these beloved veterans!  They may be a little older but they still have those moves on that dance floor!!  We hope you will join us.

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
at National Harbor, Maryland

“We’re back!” Ring in the holidays early this year! Join Radio King Orchestra once more as we entertain thousands of our closest friends with all of our Christmas and Holiday music!  This is NOT the event for you if don’t like Christmas music…HOWEVER, if you enjoy it as much as we do, this evening will really get you in the holiday spirit.  You may hear a few songs from of our regular repertoire as well, but this special concert is all about Christmas!

It’s a packed all-day event with lots of activities for the family and then around 5:30pm…or so… the program and swingin’ musical concert with Radio King Orchestra will start followed by the lighting of the huge Christmas tree, a lightshow and fireworks…and then a little more RKO!  It’s a fantastic evening and a festive way to end your weekend and start off the new week…hopefully, with a song in your heart and a skip in your step!

By the way…it’s a free concert!

A Capital Evening IV

The RKO Combo is excited to support, for the second year in a row, the John S. Mulholland Family Foundation! Help us raise money to make a difference in the lives of more than 750 working families in the District of Columbia.  The mission of the foundation is…”to simply assist those already doing God’s work within a stone’s throw from the U.S. Capitol – to ensure that no child goes to bed hungry in the greatest city in the world, that no family is left in need, that no call is left answered.”  Read more about what the JSMFF does here…

All funds raised will be used to purchase groceries to feed the working poor of inner city Washington – fresh produce, milk, eggs,  meat and poultry – throughout 2018. Read more and watch a video about this fun and giving evening here…

The Lab School of Washington’s 50th Anniversary
For 33 years, The Lab School of Washington has hosted its annual Gala and dinner dance to raise critical funds to continue the mission of the school to unlock each child’s full potential.

The Gala raises awareness about learning differences and recognizes people who have overcome their own learning differences and gone on to achieve great heights in their careers and lives.  To learn more click here…

Join Radio King Orchestra as we provide various ensembles and music throughout this special evening with small jazz groups, awards music, and big band dinner and dance music until 11:00pm.
